It's no secret - fitness training has been proven to prevent disease, strengthen your health and improve your confidence and outlook on life. As an ISSA student working toward my certification to be a trainer, I'm learning about everything from muscle mechanics to flexibility and cardiovascular dynamics. So if you want to live a stronger and more confident life, I will soon have the training and the expertise to help you every step of the way.
I have always been passionate about fitness. Over the course of years in the gym I have done tons of research, gone to plenty of classes and seminars, and tested many theories as the science behind fitness grows and changes.
Before looking to expand into a career setting, I used to build programs for friends and family. People tended to like my style of training (so I was told), but most everyone dropped off eventually. I have found in today's society, folks are more likely to stick with a program if they are paying for a service. So, here I am!
Shortly after coming home from deployment, I began hunting my dream of being a competitive bodybuilder. I have been active in the competition scene for going on 3 years now. I currently compete as an NPC Open class bodybuilder. I love this sport and intend to earn my IFBB Pro card in the future.
Why is this relevant? I knew a lot about fitness before I started competing. I learned a lot MORE after getting started. You do not have to train like this to look good, but my knowledge can help you capture your goals!
I have spent 6 years in the US Army National Guard. I have served on 1 deployment. Over the course of my time in the military, I have regularly been utilized as the Fitness SME (Subject Matter Expert) in regards to physical fitness. I have designed programs, trained soldiers, and conducted group fitness for platoons of soldiers of approximately 80+!
All types of fitness is different. All bodies are different. My experience across a vast array of fitness can help you hunt and seize your goals!
